Death Investigator Kim Gillis
Most of the information about death investigators has been generated by Hollywood, and often is not entirely correct. Death investigators perform a myriad of tasks that far exceed the “body snatcher” mold that is so popular. Kim Gillis will talk about the differences in the medical examiner system, a pure Coroner system, and the Sheriff Coroner system that are all found in California. She’ll also talk about the general role of a death investigator in all of the systems, and what a death investigator often does at various types of scenes.
