Get a Clue…About Writing Mysteries!

Get a Clue…About Writing Mysteries! is a participatory event, with three mystery authors telling stories about the writing life (how they do it, why they do it, what they write), then taking kids through the facets of mystery writing (characterization, setting, and plot) and building a new flash mystery together as a group.

Featuring:

  • Beth McMullen – author of the “Mrs. Smith’s Spy School for Girls” series
  • Steve Hockensmith – author of the “Nick and Tesla” series
  • Nancy Ellen Hird – author of the “My Edinburgh Files” series
